Modi government is working towards doubling the income of farmers. Many schemes are being implemented under this, besides this, the government is also working to increase the production by reducing the cost of agriculture to the farmers. Under this, the government is developing fertilizer and seed shops as farmers’ prosperity centers. So that the right information related to agriculture can reach all the farmers of the country at the right time. Farmers will benefit that if they get timely information, they can cultivate well and they will get maximum profit.
In Jharkhand, it is planned to open 1500 Kisan Samriddhi Kendras in the state so that farmers can get better quality fertilizer seeds in their village panchayats and they get all information related to agriculture. More than 400 centers have been selected to open Kisan Samriddhi Kendras in Jharkhand. Locations for other centers are being explored. Kisan Samriddhi Centers will be opened at village, block and district level. 50 square feet of space will be required to open it at village level, 200 square feet to open at block level and 2000 square feet of shop at district level.
There will be soil testing facilities
There will be seating arrangements for farmers at Kisan Samriddhi Kendra. Also, all agricultural products will be displayed. It will also have POM machine, scanner and QR code. Not only this, the center will also have crop related literature where farmers will get complete information about agriculture. The Kisan Samriddhi Center to be opened at the block level will also have smart TV with internet connectivity, help desk, connectivity to common service center, soil testing facility and fertilizer and seed testing facility. Apart from this, the facilities which will be opened at the district level will be of high quality.

Agricultural machinery is available for rent
Jharkhand Agriculture Department’s endeavor is to provide information on farming through TV in some selected centres. Farmers visiting those centers will watch crop related programs on TV. Where they will be informed about crop field preparation, disease prevention and control and get information about weather forecast. The program will inform the best practices of agriculture adopted by farmers and successful farmers. Apart from this, agricultural equipment will also be available at the centers opened at the district level, which the farmers can hire.
