DA Hike Update: Central government has recently increased dearness allowance of employees from 42 to 46 percent. Like the central government, many state governments are now increasing Dearness Allowance (DA). Now the name of Rajasthan has been added to that list. Rajasthan govt has extended DA before elections. Elections are going to be held in Rajasthan very soon. The Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan state has increased DA by 4 percent. After that the current DA increased from 42 percent to 46 percent. The Election Commission has also approved a proposal to increase dearness allowance by 4 percent for Rajasthan government employees.
State employees will benefit
More than 8 lakh employees and 4 lakh pensioners of the state will benefit from this decision of Rajasthan government. If an employee’s basic salary is Rs 10000, he will get DA of Rs 4,600. Which was earlier Rs 4,200.
Recently these states have increased the DA
Haryana government has good news for the employees of its state. The state government gave gifts to the employees before Diwali. Following the footsteps of the central government, the Haryana government has increased Dearness Allowance (DR) by 4 percent. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced a 4 percent hike in DA for state government employees. After this announcement DA of government employees has been increased from 42 percent to 46 percent.
These states have also increased the DA
Ahead of Haryana, other states like Odisha, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have announced dearness allowance hikes for their government employees ahead of Diwali. While some states have announced a 3% DA hike, other states have announced a 4% DA hike for their employees.
