The central government has announced the MSP for Rabi season crops. Wheat price for 2024-25 rabi marketing season will be Rs 2275 per quintal. Where the price of mustard will be Rs 5650 per quintal. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the hike in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of rabi crops. The maximum increase in MSP is Rs 425 per quintal for masoor (lentil). After that Rs 200 per quintal of mustard has been sanctioned.
