Google Meet Beauty Effect: Google releases new updates daily to improve user experience. There are millions of people around the world who are using various Google services. Google Meet is one of the services that are being used today for many tasks like meetings or online classes. Google has now updated its video conferencing platform with a new filter feature.

The tech giant claims that this feature will allow users to use beauty effects during video calls. In the Google Workspace Update blog, the company announced that portrait touch-up mode is currently available in Google Meet on mobile devices for select users. The company will roll out this feature to all other users from October 28. The company also said that the portrait touch-up feature could come to Google Meet on the web by the end of 2023.

Google Meet portrait touch-up feature

Portrait touch-up mode will be turned on automatically as soon as it rolls out, and can also be enabled from the Google Meet settings. This feature will only be available to Premium Google Account users. Portrait touch-up will not be available for users with personal Google accounts.

How does Google Meet portrait touch-up work?

With this feature you are going to get two portrait modes. These mods will do many things with a single click like enhancing color, brightening under eyes and whitening teeth. Video platforms like TikTok and Instagram have long offered innovative filters and facial smoothing effects. This feature is already available in other video conferencing apps like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
