In an officer announcement, Stallantis revealed that DS Automobiles has integrated the ChatGPT AI chatbot into its vehicles, allowing users to get accurate and immediate answers. AI chatbots work like Alexa or Siri in cars. The company will initially start with a pilot phase for the first six months, where it will provide access to 20,000 registered users.

These users should use DS 3, DS 4, DS 7 and DS 9 range vehicles with an active DS IRIS system on board. To use the feature and interact with the DS IRIS system, users simply need to say “OK IRIS” by pressing the special button on the steering wheel.

ChatGPT’s integration with the DS IRIS SYSTEM will be available to the first 20,000 registered users at no extra cost for six months if they purchase vehicles in the above-mentioned range between 19 October and 29 February. Users can contact DS Services Store to activate the system. In the pilot phase, the integration will only be available in European regions including France, Germany, UK, Spain and Italy.
