Delhi Metro Tickets book On WhatsApp: If you use Delhi Metro daily, there is great news for you. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced to offer ticket booking system services in partnership with instant messaging app WhatsApp. That is, now you don’t have to queue for tickets at metro stations, you can book tickets for traveling on Delhi Metro with the help of Modu WhatsApp account on your mobile phone.
You can book tickets in both Hindi and English languages
The WhatsApp-based metro ticketing system allows passengers to purchase tickets quickly and easily from their homes or workplaces. The chatbot is available in both English and Hindi languages. It covers 12 metro lines and 288 metro stations in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi, including the Gurugram Rapid Metro.

To book Delhi Metro tickets via WhatsApp, first send a message with the text “Hi” to +91 9650855800. Or you can scan the QR code provided at any metro station.
After that select your preferred language.
Then tap on the “Buy Ticket” button visible on the screen.
Select your station name from where you want to go and where you want to go.
Now, you select the number of tickets. One if you are single and if you are with another person then accordingly.
Review the information provided and proceed to make payment.
You will receive a link for payment.
Once you pay for the ticket, you will receive a QR-based ticket on WhatsApp.

Keep these things in mind before buying tickets
Whenever you book tickets (QR code) for Delhi Metro travel using WhatsApp, keep a few things in mind. We tell you that a passenger can get maximum 6 QR tickets in one transaction. Ticket cancellation is not allowed while using WhatsApp Ticket. The best part is that every QR-based metro ticket is valid for the entire day of purchase.
We inform you that ticket booking for all metro lines is available only between 6 AM to 9 AM and for Airport Line (Orange Line) from 4 AM to 11 PM. A nominal convenience fee will be charged on credit/debit card transactions, while there is no convenience fee on UPI-based transactions. Note that passengers have 65 minutes to exit after entering the metro station.
You can also get QR-based tickets from metro stations
If you don’t use WhatsApp or your mobile phone gets damaged, in that case you can also get Delhi Metro travel ticket from metro station. Delhi Metro also offers metro card facility to facilitate the journey of passengers.
