iQoo 12 Series Launch Date in India: Chinese phone maker iQOO has made its mark in India. The company is gearing up to launch its latest series of phones. The iQOO 12 series was already confirmed to launch in China, followed by its arrival in India.
This is how India’s first phone will be made
The arrival of the new iQoo smartphone in India has been confirmed by the Vivo sub-brand via Weibo. The gaming-focused iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Qualcomm’s new-gen SoC will be found in the IQOO 12, making it India’s first phone with it. The iQoo 12 series is expected to get Android 14 operating system.
The arrival of the iQoo 12 5G in India was announced by iQoo India CEO Nipun Maria in a post on X. The company’s CEO confirmed that it will be the first phone in India with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

iQoo 12 Series Launch Date in India
The IQOO 12 and IQOO 12 Pro will launch in China on November 7. A teaser post regarding this has also been shared on Weibo. Accordingly, the IQOO 12 series will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Said to be the first gaming phone to come with the new SOS.

The IQOO 12 series will support 144Hz refresh rate display and triple rear camera. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will be powered by the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It is also claimed that this phone is the first mobile platform that focuses on generative AI. It will have Wi-Fi 7 and dual Bluetooth support. Prime Core will be available on the phone’s CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.3GHz.
iQoo 12 Series Specifications (Expected)
According to previous leaks, the IQOO 12 and IQOO 12 Pro phones will be offered with two storage options, which will support 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. The iQoo 12 series will get a triple rear camera setup, of which the main camera will be 50-megapixel with OIS. Also, the second camera could be 64-megapixel with ultra-wide-angle and 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensors.
The iQOO 12 is expected to pack a 4,880mAh dual-cell battery with 120W fast charging support. On the other hand, the Pro model will have a larger 4,980mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
