Padowali village is the second stop among three villages of archaeological importance in Morena district of MP which has been given the status of tourist village and made a tourist circuit. Many idols of Hindu gods and goddesses in various yoga postures have been found. After the archeology department’s efforts to give an original look to these antiquities of the Gurjara Pratihara dynasty, the form of the temple emerged as the world famous main temple of Khajuraho. Due to this, the temple built after renovation in Padavali car is now called ‘Mini Khajuraho’.
