OnePlus 12 smartphone display confirmed: Leading Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus is gearing up to launch their new smartphone OnePlus 12. Its camera, storage and other specifications have been revealed through leaks ahead of the launch. Meanwhile, now the company has revealed the display of OnePlus 12, which shows that this upcoming device will come with the best display.
Oneplus 12 (upcoming mobile phone) will be equipped with 2K resolution display
In a Weibo post, OnePlus claims that the OnePlus 12 will be the world’s first smartphone to be equipped with a DisplayMate A+ rated X1 ‘Oriental Screen’ with a resolution of 2K and a maximum brightness level of 2,600 nits. The ‘Oriental Screen’ is powered by Oppo’s first-generation Display P1 chip and has 18 DisplayMate A+ records, the company said at a recent press conference, according to a report by Chinese site ITHome.
That being said, the X1 display offers twice the industry average lifespan. The report also claims that with this panel, screen performance is improved by 90 percent and power consumption will be reduced by 13 percent.
Let us tell you that the upcoming Oneplus 12 will replace the Oneplus 11 launched last year. There is a possibility that the company may introduce the OnePlus 12 with a design similar to the OnePlus 11. Additionally, some leaks suggest that the upcoming device from OnePlus will be powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Camera (smartphone camera)
According to reports, the OnePlus 12 could offer triple cameras on the back for photography, which could include a 50MP camera, a 48MP sensor and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor. The handset is likely to launch with a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device will likely run on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.
Currently, the company has not officially confirmed the OnePlus 12 launch date. It is expected that other specifications of this phone may be revealed on the launch day itself.
