Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Announced the opening of retail mall- Jio World Plaza on October 31. This retail mall is spread over 7.50 lakh square feet and is located in Bandra Kurla Complex. (BKC) present in Bandra Kurla Complex is India’s most expensive commercial business district.
The mall will be opened for public from November 1. The plaza also houses the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Jio World Convention Center and Jio World Garden, according to a statement issued by the company.
The plaza is intended to be a retail, leisure and dining hub and will house 66 luxury brands. Isha M Ambani, Director, Reliance Industries Limited said, ‘Jio World Plaza aims to bring the best global brands to India. Additionally, the aim is to provide a unique retail experience showcasing the strengths and attributes of top Indian brands. Each of our initiatives aims to innovate and deliver a better customer experience. He said, ‘Jio World Plaza is more than a retail centre. It is a blend of beauty, culture and leisure.
According to a statement issued by the company, luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier, Bailey, Armani, Dior will be present at the mall. Besides, it will also house famous designers like Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Rahul Mishra, Falguni, Ritu Kumar. According to the company, the structure of the plaza is inspired by lotus flowers and other elements of nature. Well-known international architecture and design firm TVS and Reliance team worked together to prepare it.
The company’s statement said, ‘The aim of this plaza is to provide customers with the best retail experience. Services such as personal shopping assistance, taxi-on-call, wheelchair service, hands-free shopping, baby strollers etc. demonstrate Plaza’s commitment to its customers.
