Chennai, May 16, 2025 – TVS Motor Company has announced a significant price reduction for its top-selling electric scooter, the iQube. The company has lowered prices for the iQube S and iQube ST variants, while also increasing the battery capacity in both models. The upgrade includes a 0.1kWh boost in the iQube S, which now comes with a 3.5kWh battery, starting at ₹1.18 lakh. The base ST model also gets the same battery upgrade, while the high-spec ST variant benefits from an even larger 0.2kWh increase, now equipped with a 5.3kWh battery, priced at ₹1.60 lakh.
Price Cuts and Enhanced Battery Capacity for iQube Models

Improved Range and Fast Charging
The price reductions come with a noticeable battery upgrade. Both the base iQube, iQube S, and iQube ST variants now feature a 3.5kWh battery, which increases the claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range to 145km. Both the iQube S and iQube ST models also feature a fast 950W charger, which allows for a 0-80% charge in just 3 hours. However, the base iQube still comes with the standard slower charger.
The base iQube now sees a price drop of ₹18,000, bringing the price down to ₹1.09 lakh. The iQube S is now priced at ₹1.18 lakh, a ₹26,000 reduction from its previous cost. The base iQube ST variant, with the upgraded 3.5kWh battery, sees the most significant price drop of ₹28,000, now available at ₹1.28 lakh.
Larger Battery Option for iQube ST
The iQube ST’s larger battery variant gets an additional 0.2kWh increase, now sporting a 5.3kWh battery pack (up from 5.1kWh in the earlier version). The claimed IDC range for this variant has also increased to 212km. The charging time for a 0-80% charge is now 4 hours and 18 minutes.
The price of the iQube ST with the larger 5.3kWh battery has been reduced by ₹25,000, bringing the cost down to ₹1.60 lakh from ₹1.85 lakh. In addition to the upgraded battery, the ST variant also comes with features like a beige inner apron, pillion backrest, and a flyscreen for enhanced comfort.
