To get a duplicate voter ID, first you need to visit the official website of the Chief Electoral Officer of your home state and download a copy of Form EPIC-002.
This form is used to issue Photo Voter ID Card.
Attach all required documents with the form.
Note, in the form you also need to mention the reason for making the duplicate ID card.
If your voter ID card is lost or stolen, you must attach a copy of the FIR.
Also, the document should include a passport size photograph, address and identity proof.
After that submit this form to your local election officer.
You will be given a reference number.
With this number, you can track the status of your application by visiting the State Election Office website i.e. whether your voter ID card has been generated or not.
Once you submit your form, it is first verified, then the duplicate card process begins.
You will be notified after verification. Then you can go to the local election officer to get it.

You can apply offline for generation of a duplicate voter ID card.
For this, you have to go to the office of the election officer and apply with the necessary documents.

Name, address and old voter ID card number form should be filled.
Submit the photocopies of the documents that will be asked from you.
After document verification, you will be given a duplicate voter ID card.
After a few days, the voter ID card can be collected from the election officer’s office.
